My Computer Journey

 For the last week, I have been trying to find a new computer for my robotics club because my computer cannot download the software or the apps that we will be using. Today, I want to talk about my journey. 

Firstly, my computer is a Windows 7. It has been around more than me we can say. And sadly, no one updates the software of Windows 7 anymore and no apps support it. The last time it was supported by the apps I wanna download was 2021. This means it  has been 3 years. When the captain of programming told us to bring our computers, I was devastated. It made a lot of noise, it was heavy and it couldn't keep up with date. Because of that, I told my family about it. Then, the searchings began. 

My mom firstly posted about it in her story telling that I needed a computer for my robotics club. From there, the people who saw my story called my mom saying they wanted to post about it on their story too. My mom of course accepted because it was not only me, there were other people who needed a computer too. At least 3 people posted it on their story but there was no news. 

We waited, waited and waited. No one, seriously, no one could find a computer. That was probably because no one would want to give out their own computer which they bought with their own money to a stranger. That was why we needed to find this a solution by ourselves. 

We actually have 3 computers at home. One of them is mine (which is a Windows 7), my brothers (it didn't have the battery) and one that is from our uncle (it lagged a lot). Because they had problems of their own, we decided to just find a second-hand computer but because we were unsuccessful, we decided to find a battery to my brother's computer. We talked with several relatives and finally, one of them told us he could ask his friend about it. We were really happy and then we continued to wait. 

At the end, they finally found a battery that would be suitable for the computer. They packaged it and shipped to us from another city. Now we're waiting for the battery to arrive. It shows as it will arrive tomorrrow but I don't know. I am actually kind of sad that I will be taking my brothers computer but anyway. Now he is deleting all the files of his and when the battery arrives, I will be uploading all the apps I will be using (which is Notion, Github, Spotify, Wpilab) and I will probably continue writing from my new computer.
